Living Systems is the leading west coast provider of programs based on Bowen Family Systems Theory. Bowen theory describes and accounts for the behaviour of individuals, families and social groups. Counselling on a sliding fee scale is available at different offices on the North Shore, in Burnaby and Vancouver. Training in Bowen Family Systems Theory teaches people to 'think systems' and to apply the theory to many different situations both personal and professional. There are two options; the Weekly Post Graduate Training Program and the Quarterly Post Graduate Training Program. Conferences held twice yearly focus on the many applications of Bowen Theory. They feature speakers from related disciplines from North America. Community Courses include Bowen 101 which introduces 'systems thinking' to people for use in their personal lives and 'Free to Be' which introduces 'systems thinking' to parents.
